Part of the PMDA yet nominated a presidential Mehriban Aliyeva

At a press-conference today Fatma Aliyeva, a chairman of the party "Democratic World of Azerbaijan" (PDWA), denied the information on nomination by the party the first lady Mehriban Aliyeva a candidate for the.

 
     On June 22  there appeared material in social networks  on the meeting of a group of individuals representing themselves as a  leadership of the PDWA, which read about the 
nomination  of Aliyeva.
 
According to Fatma Aliyeva, a former executive secretary of  the party, Sevda Khurshudova, who was excluded from the party, also participated in the meeting. 
 
Fatma Aliyev claims  that she was elected a chairman of the party at the congress in October 2012. She  condemned the other side  of  an attempt to capture the leadership  in the PDWA.
 
Fatma Aliyeva was accused of provoking those who put forward M.Aliyeva  as  a candidate for presidency.
 
According to her, a well-known representative of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Russia, a native of Georgia, Soyun Sadiqov is behind the group. In addition, this group provides support to a member of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan on behalf of Rasim Mirzayev, said Fatma Aliyev.
 
Farhad Aliyev said that Khurshudova is a citizen of Georgia, and had once been deported from Azerbaijan for violating immigration laws. The party leadership is going to sue Khurshudova for illegal performance on behalf of the party.
 
In turn, Khurshudova, talking to Turan  correspondent denied the allegations of  F.Aliyev. She noted that since 1983 she has been living in Azerbaijan, and is a citizen of the country, as well as her husband.
 
 She is not acquainted with Soyun Sadikhov. Regarding the nomination of M.Aliyeva, this is not a provocation, but the decision 68 regional organizations of the party, said Khurshudova.
 
* PDWA  was founded by Mammad Alizadeh in 1992. In the mid-2000s the party lived active structuring and agitation, and even positioned itself, pro-government party. Then the party led campaigned in support of Mehriban Aliyeva. However, in the summer 2012 Alizadeh voluntarily resigned. At the same time the head of the Organizing Committee for the Congress Party was appointed Mikasim Seyidov. However, later Seyidov was dismissed,  and the party split into two entities, calling themselves PDWA.
 
It interesting that in response to a request of Turan to the press service of the Ministry of Justice, who is the legitimate leader of the PDWA,  said Mahammad Alizade.—05C06-
