Baku / 04.11.20 / Turan: An informed source told Turan about the involvement of Russian mercenaries of a private military company (PMC) by Armenia for the war in Azerbaijan.

In particular, a group of 300 members of the Wagner PMC was transferred from Russia to Armenia, and then to Shusha.

On October 1, Radio Liberty reported with reference to the Wagnerites themselves that they were already in Karabakh and were participating in battles. In particular, these are the operators of ATGM (anti-tank guided missiles), which were mobilized as soon as possible to be sent to the region.

According to a source from Radio Liberty, the first fighters of PMC Wagner arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh in late August and early September.

There is no independent confirmation of this information yet, but Russian journalists who previously accompanied the Wagnerites in Syria are active in Karabakh.

On September 26, on the last day of the Russian military exercises Kavkaz-2020, which were also held in Armenia, the military transport An-124-100 of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation landed in Yerevan. According to one version, it could deliver the Tor M-2 and Pantsir-S2 air defense systems to Armenia.

This plane flew to Armenia from Rostov-on-Don, 300 kilometers from which is the PMC Wagner base in Molkino.

Radio Liberty notes that the RBC edition wrote about the plans of the Russian Ministry of Defense to send Wagnerites to Nagorno-Karabakh with reference to an unnamed FSB officer in the summer of 2016.

In addition, President Erdogan reported to President Putin about the terrorist mercenaries in Shusha by telephone on October 27. “According to the precise data of the intelligence services, 2 thousand PKK terrorists are in Shusha and are fighting on the side of Armenia. They are paid $ 600 each," Erdogan told Putin. —0—
