President of Georgia to Participate in Baku Forum
The President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili has arrived in Baku to participate in the IV Global Forum Baku, where he will address the current and former leaders of over 70 countries.
According to the Forum materials, Margvelashvili will speak about the challenges that exist in the region, relations between the West and the East, regional projects and Georgia's problems. During the visit Margvelashvili will meet with President Ilham Aliyev and other leaders of the Forum member countries.
Note that the two-day Global Forum opened with the participation of dozens of former and current heads of state and governments today.
The opening was made by Ilham Aliyev, who noted that the themes of the debate and discussion at the Forum are aimed at making the world safer.
"Countries, governments and politicians should play their part to try to reduce tensions and create the ground for cooperation, understanding and mutual respect. Otherwise, the situation will continue to deteriorate," he stated. -02D-
