"Public Chamber", uniting leading opposition forces in the country, issued a statement condemning the government for a provocation against the delegation of "Musavat" in Lankaran region.
The document said that the provocation was committed on the direct orders from the authorities. The incident is equivalent to an act of terrorism involving a large group of ordered people with complete indifference to police.
All this is evidence of the criminal nature of the ruling and mafia regime in the country, the statement said.
Such action against presidential candidates shows what methods will be used against opponents of the government of Ilham Aliyev. At the same time, it shows how scared and shamed is the power in light of recent revelations of corruption.
Public Chamber called on citizens to be active and to send the regime to the dustbin of history. -05D-
