"Public Chamber" to hold protest rally in front of Parliament on December 10
Executive Power of Baku did not authorize the protest by the "Public Chamber" to be held on December 10 in front of the Parliament.
The action is to be held on the occasion of Human Rights Day from 14:00 to 15:00 under the slogan "Freedom to political prisoners!", "No restrictions on freedom of assembly," " Dissolve false parliament,"
"Freedom of thought, speech and expression has no boundaries," "Freedom of conscience - the right of each, " and "Respect the human rights ».
However, the Executive Power does not find reasonable the demands of the organizers.
In turn, the deputy head of the party "Musavat", Gulaga Aslanli, said that the decision of the Executive Power was not legal.
According to him, the action is held in the form of picketing, and the law allows its s organization
with participation of up to 50 people at a distance no closer than 10 meters to the entrance-exit of the picketing object. He said the decision of the Executive Power will be appealed to the Court.
Because the ban is illegal, the picket will be held in front of the parliament.–06D--
