Putin and Raisi discussed Karabakh
Baku/26.09.23 /Turan: On September 26, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi called Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin's press service reported.
The sides held "a thorough exchange of views on the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh and the issues of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia."
Vladimir Putin informed about the activities of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, including providing humanitarian assistance to civilians, protecting the rights and security of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Presidents of Russia and Iran emphasized the importance of resolving all issues exclusively by peaceful, political and diplomatic means. Mutual interest was expressed in activating the work of the consultative regional platform "3+3" (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia plus Russia, Iran and Turkey)," the message reads. ---0---
