Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin.
Baku/12.12.22/Turan: Russian President Vladimir Putin phoned Ilham Aliyev on December 12 to discuss the implementation of trilateral agreements between Baku, Yerevan and Moscow, the Kremlin press service said on Monday.
"They discussed some practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021 and October 31 this year, including plans to restore economic and logistical links in the South Caucasus," the statement said.
Official Baku has not yet disclosed the phone call and its content. There is no doubt that the call is linked to today's blockage of the Lachin corridor. What the two leaders have agreed upon will be clearer depending on how the situation develops in Karabakh. -02D-
