Reports of the death of Ali Insanov are exaggerated
Information published today in a number of social networks and online editions on the death of former Health Minister Ali Insanov in prison, is not true, according to Insanov’s lawyer, Togrul Babaev. "I met yesterday with Ali Insanov, and his health was normal and he felt well," said the lawyer.
Insanov was arrested in October 2005 on charges of attempt of coup. Later he was sentenced to 11 years in prison for economic crimes. His appeal is pending in the EU Court of Human Rights. -03В-
