Representative of National Council in Ukraine released after 19 hours of interrogation
Detained in Baku airport on the night of July 29, the head of the National Council of Democratic Forces in Ukraine, Yalchin Gahramanoglu, was released after 19 hours.
According to his lawyer Mansur Bayramov that talked to Turan, Gahramanoglu was taken to the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he was interrogated about the purpose of his arrival.
Physical pressure was not exerted, Gahramanoglu himself said.
He believes that the reason for his arrest is his partipation in the National Council.
Gahramanoglu at the time was an activist of the public association Return to West Azerbaijan (the territory of modern Armenia) and was a member of the public committee for the rights of the convicted former Health Minister Ali Insanov. -06D-

Ramil Eynaliev, an activist from the Lankaran branch of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PPFA), has been administratively arrested for 30 days on charges of "disobeying the police." According to the PPFA, Eynaliev was detained the day before and taken to the third police station of the Khazar district in Baku. The party believes that the true reason for his arrest is a critical comment he made on social media.
