Safar Abiyev has talks with senior military leaders of Turkey
As part of his official visit to Turkey, Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Safar Abiyev, today had one-on-one talks in Ankara, and then of enlarged delegation with Turkish Minister of Defense, Ismet Yilmaz.
They had fruitful discussions on deepening military cooperation, according to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan. Following the talks, the ministers signed a declaration of intent.
Abiyev also held talks with the chief of the Turkish General Staff, Necet Ozel, and Army Chief, Khairy Kivrikoglu.
During the visit Abiyev also will visit a number of enterprises of the defense industry in Turkey. -06D -
