Baku/29.09.23 /Turan: The State Agency of Water Resources has taken control of the Sarsang reservoir and started operating this strategic hydro facility, the message of the state agency on September 29.
Water resources of Sarsang will irrigate 95 thousand hectares of crops in the territories of Terter, Agdam, Agjabedi, Yevlakh, Barda and Goranboy regions.
The facility was built on Terterchay in 1976. Its capacity is 565 million cubic meters, the useful volume is 500 million cubic meters.
The water mirror (surface) is 1346 ha., the length of the coastline is 50.25 sq. km. --06B--
