Sheikh Condemned the Anti-Islamic Film

Sheikh Pashazadeh issued a statement in response to recent negative processes in a number of Muslim countries, caused by the appearance of the film "The innocence of the Muslims."

The statement said that the tape, filmed by a U.S. citizen, director Sam Budge was a new manifestation of Islamophobia, which is shown in an offensive manner Prophet Mohammed.

"It caused quite fair discontent of the Islamic world, the bitter outcome of which was the murder of staff of the U.S. Embassy in Libya. The wave of protests and rallies swept the Muslim world, gave way to unrest caused killings of innocent people, "- the document says.

"Some Western countries which are for human rights and consider themselves bastions of democracy, in fact, violate the democratic principles, often showing against Muslim societies their aggressive and racist policies.

Bark is used as a military target, burned at the stake would-be pastor and, finally, the tragic consequences of the film "innocent Muslims" who insult the Prophet.

All of this diminishes the prospects for the triumph of humanism, justice and brotherhood in the world, open the way to hatred and opposition on religious grounds. These extreme irresponsible acts against the Islamic religion we consider like attempts to destroy peace and deepen the rift, a blow to interfaith and interethnic dialogue. The last event that caused quite justified anger of Muslims is a destabilizing factor, devoted solely to the clash of civilizations," is said in the statement.

"We want Sam Budge, Terry Jones and other perpetrators of the events of recent days, and all those who incite ethnic and sectarian strife to be brought to justice. We also demand legal review of their harmful actions," is said in the statement. -02D-
