Sheikh receives the representative of the Pope
The head of the Caucasus Muslims Department(CMD), Sheikh Pashazade received today the Vatican's representative for the South Caucasus, nuncio Marek Solchinski.
According to the press service of the CMB, they discussed the relations between the Vatican and teaching materials, as well as prospects of cooperation.
Pashazade congratulated Catholics in connection with the upcoming Easter, and handed the nuncio his letter to the Pope. In turn, Marek Solchinsky, on behalf of the Vatican, thanked the sheikh for his active role in the maintenance of a high level bilateral relations.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the Catholic community in Azerbaijan Vladimir Fekete.-05D-
