Shootings on border and in Karabakh
Baku/12.05.23/Turan: On the night of May 12, the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces were shelled 17 times on other sections of the border and in Karabakh.
A relative calm was established in the direction of the settlement of Zod, where the day before there were shootings with the use of mortars and artillery, the report says.
However, in other parts of the border, the Armenian armed forces fired mortars and small arms at Azerbaijani positions 8 times in the direction of village of Gosh in Tovuz region, Yellidzha in Kelbajar region and Minkend in Lachin region.
Besides, Armenian formations in Karabakh fired 9 times at Azerbaijani positions in the Terter, Khojaly, Shusha and Lachin regions. "The Azerbaijani side has taken adequate measures in all directions, the operational situation is under control," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement. -06B-
