Son of Isa Gambar summoned to the prosecutor"s office
Another member of the board of NIDA Movement - Turgut Gambar on Monday was called to the Investigative Department of General Prosecutor for Serious Crimes. Gambar believes the call is associated with the previously arrested activists of NIDA.
Gambar is to come to the prosecutor's office on April 22 at 9.30.
He will go to the prosecutor with the lawyer Osman Kazimov.
Recall that Gambar is the son of the leader of the party Musavat Isa Gambar.
Earlier, during the period from March 7, seven activists of NIDA were arrested. They are accused of illegal possession of explosives. Some also face charges of illegal possession of drugs.
However, local and international human rights organizations are convinced young people were arrested on trumped up charges on the basis of political order.
Amnesty International recognized the arrested activists "prisoners of conscience." -06D-
