Sons of three Turkish ministers arrested for corruption
In Turkey on suspicion of corruption were detained the children of ministers , officials and prominent businessmen . Among them are the son of Economy Minister Salih Caglayan, the son of Interior Minister Baris Guler, the son of the Minister of Urban Development and Environment Oguz Bayraktar, Assistants of the Minister of Economy Behcet Kainar and Onur Kaya, Adviser to the Minister of Urban Development and Environment Soylu Sadik, the head of management of urban development department Mehmet Ali Kahraman , the head of the municipality of Istanbul's Fatih Mustafa Demir , CEO Halkbank Suleyman Aslan , the famous entrepreneur Ali Agaoglu, the husband of the singer Ebru Gundesh, and a a businessman of Azerbaijani origin Rza Zarrabi .
They are accused of breaking the rules of tenders and lobbying firms and companies in exchange for bribes.
Many of them are members or supporters of the ruling AKP .
Prime Minister Erdogan made ??a statement in which he made it clear he did not approve these arrests, which are aimed at destabilizing the situation in the country. According to him, the arrests are backed by Nurjular - supporters of the religious leader Fatullah Gulen .
These arrests indicate a serious political problem and countering Erdogan by the police, which in itself is an unprecedented phenomenon. -02D-

As a result of the preliminary investigation, the charge against Aziz Orujov, director of the internet TV channel Kanal 13, under Article 206.3.2 of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code (smuggling committed by a group of individuals in conspiracy) has been dropped. The case has been sent to court only under Article 188.2 of the Criminal Code (unauthorized construction on land without ownership rights). Today, the Baku Serious Crimes Court delivered a verdict in the case of public activist Ilhamiz Guliyev. The court reclassified the charges from Article 234.4.3 (illegal drug trafficking with intent to sell in large quantities) to a lighter charge under Article 234.1-1 (illegal acquisition, possession, manufacturing, processing, or transportation of narcotic substances or psychotropic substances in large quantities without the intent to distribute) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code and sentenced the activist to three years in prison.
