Baku/09.05.23/Turan: The Azerbaijan Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport ("Azerkosmos") and the American company "SpaceX" (Space Exploration Technologies Corporation) have signed a cooperation agreement.

Head of "Azercosmos" Sameddin Asadov told journalists.

The agreement stipulates an agreement on resale of broadband satellite Internet "Starlink" in Azerbaijan. "Satellite Internet will improve the country's performance and promote the development of new technologies," Asadov said.

Also,Azerbaijan is planning to launch its satellites into orbit using "Falcon" rockets owned by "SpaceX".

The agreements were reached during the visit of president and chief operating manager of "SpaceX" Gwynn Shotwell in Baku. -06В-
