State commission of Azerbaijan appealed to international structures due to missing soldiers
Baku/13.04.23/Turan: The State Commission for Prisoners, Missing Persons and Hostages, together with other Azerbaijani authorities, are searching and investigating the disappearance of two soldiers of the Ministry of Defense in the Shahbuz region of Nakhchivan on the border with Armenia - Babirov Agshin Gabil oglu, born in 2004 and Akhundov Huseyn Ahliman oglu in 2003. This is reported by the state commission.
"Taking into account the probability of the soldiers being detained on the territory of Armenia, appropriate appeals have been made to international organizations for their release," the message reads.
It should be added that the Armenian side confirmed the detention of one of the two soldiers on April 10.
According to the Armenian side, the soldiers voluntarily came over to Armenia because of bullying by their colleagues. In particular, this was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashchinyan, according to whom, one of the detainees stated that he did not want to return to Azerbaijan, and Armenia did not intend to extradite him.
At noon on April 13, the Armenian side announced that the second Azerbaijani soldier had been found and detained. –06D-
