States must notify citizens about inadmissibility of visits to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Foreign Minister
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry urged not to politicize the case of blogger Lapshin, who was arrested and extradited from Belarus in Baku. Lapshin knows that he was included in the list of undesirable persons for illegal visit to Karabakh, but in June 2016 he deliberately came to Azerbaijan with another passport. That is why Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General's Office files a lawsuit under the Articles 281.2 (appeals against the state) and 318.2 (illegal crossing border) and announced him to the international wanted list, said in a statement. Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry once again calls upon foreign citizens avoid traveling to the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia. At the same time, States must notify their citizens about the legal consequences of such visits, the statement said. -02D-
