Telephone Conversation Took Place between Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran
Baku / 04.01.20 / Turan: On Saturday, a telephone conversation took place between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran - Elmar Mammadyarov and Javad Zarif.
“During the telephone conversation, the Ministers discussed issues of growing tension in the region in the light of recent events. The Azerbaijani side calls on all the parties involved to refrain from violence and be committed to commitments to strengthen regional security,” the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
Mammadyarov expressed deep condolences to the leadership and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran in connection with the death of General Qasem Soleimani. — 06D--
