The attack on Gyulalyev"s son under supervision of prosecutor"s office
The investigation into the brutal beating and stabbing of the 16-year-old son of the civil society activist, Oktay Gyulalyev, has been transferred from the 37th Khatai police station under the supervision of the Khatai District Prosecutor's Office. Turan was told by Gyulalyev.
Recall that on the evening of September 23, there was an attack on his son, Ali Gyulalyev, near his home in the village NZS. Four or five young men beat up the 16-year-old boy and inflicted two stab wounds.
On September 26, the investigator recorded the testimony of the son of the activist. The investigation initiated the set up the identikit of the attackers.
The health status of young Gyulalyev is characterized as moderate. The wounds bleed and the internal organs hurt. No one has been arrested or suspected yet.
In this, Gyulalyev expressed regret with the hasty statement by the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the case. The head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Orkhan Mansurzadeh, said that, according to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was a fight on Sept. 20 in School No 194 between Ali Gyulalyev and Bayram Sultanli. Ali struck Bayram in the eye. After that, some people close to Sultanli inflicted Ali with minor injuries.
However, according to O. Gyulalyev, between his son and B. Sultanly, there was no personal conflict, and Sultanly has no claims to his son.
O. Gyulalyev also said that he spoke with the director of the school, and she also denied reports that Ali beat anyone in the school.
"If the boy was brutally beaten and inflicted with two knife wounds, which required an operattion, how this can be called a minor personal injury? The depth of penetrattion of the stab wounds was 12 cm, and in the hospital we were given a certificate of serious nature with regard to the wounds. It is a serious offense. It was not known how it would all turn out, or if a car would come, or if the attackers would not flee away," said Gyulalyev.
On the question of whether O. Gyulalyev sees political motives in the attack, he replied:
"I have been waiting for the results of the investigation. I think this is quite a resonant crime, and the police should be interested in its disclosure.
The investigation must establish and bring to justice the perpetrators. If this does not happen, then, of course, there will be a lot of questions," said Gyulalyev.
Note that O. Gyulalyev is the coordinator of staff of the civil society, Kura, that revealed the corruption in the aftermath of the floods in the Kura River area in 2010, and the earthquake in the Zagatala region in 2012.
O. Gyulalyev is also a member of the Public Alliance, "No political prisoners in Azerbaijan!" and the head of the press center for the presidential candidate of the opposition National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF), Jamil Gasanli . -06B-
