The Court European began communication for detainees at the meetings in 2013
The European Court of Human Rights has started communication for the 10 people who were arrested and fined for participating in protests Baku in January-March 2010. Now the rights of three of them - Agil Aliyev, Nargiza Yagublu, and Ramin Hajili protected now arrested human rights activist Intigam Aliyev. In addition, communication started for Khadija Ismayilova, Sakhavat Mehdiyev, Azer Sadigov, Osman Akhmedov, Jamil Hajiyev, Gozel Bayramly and Javid Garayev.
They were arrested during peaceful demonstrations on 12 and 26 January and 10 March 2013.
There were administrative reports, after which they are brought to justice. In this case, they were not informed about the reasons for their detention. They were not allowed to inform the family, use the services of lawyers, and were not given time to prepare for trial. Only the police testified against them. The Strasbourg Court has suggested that the Government of Azerbaijan until January 19 to respond to the questions on these affairs.-16D—
