The crisis in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or can diplomat has own opinion?
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry launched an internal investigation in connection with the status which has shared in Facebook the Azerbaijani diplomat, Head of Mission of the OIC in the EU Arif Mamedov.
Mammadov wrote a critical status in connection with a fire on May 19 in Baku, claimed the lives of 15 people, and blame the officialsfor it. However, pro-government media have called this almost anti-government conspiracy and preparation of revolution.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmet Hajiyev, who is completely inaccessibility to the press in recent days, said the pro-government media, that Arif Mammadov's statement on the social networks is to be claridfied.
"If the information is confirmed, such behavior of a diplomat is not befitting. This is unacceptable, and irresponsible and non-professional behavior, " quoted Hajiyev pro-government media.
However, on page Mammadov on Facebook is can be seen that among those who "like" the diplomat’s status was Hikmet Hajiyev too. Perhaps it is the namesake of the spokdesman of the Press Secretary, but it is impossible to check it because of failure to contact the latter.
Whatever it was, the scandal around the famous diplomat revealed another systemic crisis in the government, according to which a government official cannot have his own opinion. Rather this opinion can only be positive. If this opinion is negative, even if it repeats the position of the first persons, this view is unacceptable.
It turns out that Mammadov, who in fact repeated criticizing the officialsby the president, is perceived as "revolutionary" and “conspirator.”- 06D-
