October 13 the delegation of the Committee on Agriculture of the House of Deputies of the Czech Republic will arrive in Baku. During the three-day visit they will have meetings with the official partnership committee of the Parliament of Azerbaijan, members of the Inter-Parliamentary Group Czech Republic - Azerbaijan, and members of the government.
It is planned to discuss issues concerning, cooperation in the field of ecology and agriculture. The delegation is headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Vojtech Filip. Turan was reported in the Czech Embassy in Azerbaijan. -02D-

Alisahib Kerimov, an activist of the Khazar district branch of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), was detained on January 10 at the Nizami metro station. By the decision of the Yasamal District Court, he was sentenced to 30 days of administrative arrest for "disobeying the police."
