The Democratic Party will not take part in parliamentary elections
Leaders of the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan has decided to refuse to participate in parliamentary elections on November 1st.
The decision is motivated by the deterioration of relations between Azerbaijan and the democratic institutions of the United States and Europe, the refusal to ODIHR to monitor the elections, as well as the lack of a real pre-election atmosphere in the country.
The report also noted the party that previously nominated candidates from the Democratic Party, its leader Sardar Jalaloglu and his deputies Hasrat Rustamov , Taliyat Aliyev , Isa Jafarov and activist Vasif Abdullayev withdrew their candidacies.-05D-
