The medical conclusion on the suitability of conscripts will be issued by the structure of the Ministry of Labor
Baku/05.12.23/Turan: The procedure for making decisions on the suitability of citizens for military service is changing in Azerbaijan, according to the amendment adopted today to the law “On Military Duty and Military Service". Now, the final medical examination will be carried out by the “appropriate executive authority.”
In accordance with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated October 6, 2023 “On measures to improve the medical examination of citizens called up for active military service”, from July 1 next year, the final medical examination of citizens will be carried out by medical commissions of the State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.—06B—
