The next meeting of civil society activists in the Southern Caucasus in Tekali
On June 13 at 14:00 in the Georgian village of Tekali (junction of borders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia) will be held a regular meeting of the inhabitants of the South Caucasus. The event is planned to discuss the topic: "European integration as a mechanism for conflict transformation.
According to the press release of the event, on the subject will speak the Director of "Regional Centre for Strategic Studies," Mikhail Mirziashvili and the head of the Caucasian Center for Strategic Studies, Mamuka Areshidze.
After the presentations, the event participants will vote on the applicability of the Georgian experience in the transformation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
Then there will be presented a report on the establishment of the working group "Tekali process" for the protection of human rights and freedoms in the frontline of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
According to the Caucasus Center of Peace-Making Initiatives (CCPMI), for all comers will be organized transport from Tbilisi, Marneuli, Tovuz, Akstafa, Kazakhs, Ijevan, Noyemberyan. The meeting was organized by the Association "Tekali" Caucasus Center of Peace-Making Initiatives Foundation, Civic Integration, Regional Centre for Strategic Studies under the financial support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED.)

On November 13, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Afghan Taliban held talks in Baku as part of the COP29 conference. According to a report by Turan correspondent, the discussions took place behind closed doors and lasted for over an hour. No statements were made to the press following the meeting. Furthermore, conference security prevented journalists from asking questions to the meeting participants.
