The number of applicants for the presidency reaches eight
Today, CEC has approved two other presidential candidates, the leader of the United Popular Front of Azerbaijan, Gudrat Hasanguliyev, and the head of the Social Democratic Party, Araz Alizadeh, and the number of approved candidates reached eight.
Earlier, the CEC approved the candidacy of six candidates for presidency, including the current president, the head of the party "Yeni Azerbaijan" Ilham Aliyev, the head of the party "Azadlig" Ahmed Orudj, self-promoter Ilgar Altay, Chairman of "Umid" Iqbal Agazadeh, the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, Fuad Aliyev, and the head of the ACDP, Ali Aliyev.
