The opposition will hold a protest on October 13
"Public Chamber" is going to hold on October 13 a march demanding the dissolution of parliament and holding new parliamentary elections. The decision was taken at today's extraordinary meeting of the Coordinating Council (CC) "Public Chamber", according to Adalat Yusibov, the chairman of the CC "Public Chamber".
The protest action is to be held from 16:00 to 18:00. Is expected to start the march from the park in Huseyn Javid Avenue, where previously there was a monument to Azizbekov, and down the avenue to the Milli Majlis of the Parliament, and to hold a rally there.
On October 5 relevant appeal will be sent to the Baku Mayor Office.
Yusibov said that the action of protest will be held regardless of the answer of the Mayor Office. He stressed that the video of interview of the deputy Gular Akhmedova with former Rector of AMU, Elshad Abdullayev, was further evidence of corruption among senior officials. "Deputies who received a mandate for a bribe can not express the will of the people, and such a parliament is illegitimate," said Yusibov. -05B-
