X summit of the Organization of Turkic States

Baku/03.11.23/Turan: In address at the landmark X summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev unveiled a visionary proposal to bolster the bonds among Turkic nations. The summit, aptly titled "Turkic Era," provided the stage for President Mirziyoyev's ambitious initiatives, as reported by a correspondent from the Kazinform agency.

President Mirziyoyev's first groundbreaking proposal involved the establishment of a Turkic Development Bank, aimed at catalyzing economic growth and collaboration among member states. He disclosed that the Turkic Investment Fund, geared towards enhancing industrial cooperation and spearheading major investment projects, had already commenced its operations. Moving forward, the President expressed Uzbekistan's willingness to host this pivotal financial institution in Tashkent, further cementing the nation's commitment to fostering economic development within the Turkic world.

Continuing his far-reaching agenda,  Mirziyoyev articulated the need to develop a comprehensive charter for the Turkic world. This charter, as envisaged by the Uzbek leader, would encapsulate the core principles of mutual respect, trust, and openness among OTS member countries. It would also serve as a testament to the unity and cohesion of Turkic peoples, celebrating their illustrious history, rich cultural heritage, and ancestral values. President Mirziyoyev proposed the collaborative creation of this symbolic compendium, drawing on the expertise of prominent scholars and experts in the field to ensure its scholarly and cultural significance.

Mirziyoyev's proposals mark a significant stride toward strengthening the bonds of the Turkic world, encapsulating a vision of deeper economic integration, cultural preservation, and enduring unity among member states. As the summit unfolds, these visionary ideas are poised to shape the future of the OTS and its role in the global community.
