Azerbaijani model of military conscription and accounting will be applied in Ministry of Defense of Georgia
Baku/03.11.23/Turan: The Azerbaijani model will be applied in the system of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. On November 2, the Georgian Parliament adopted amendments to the country's new Defense Code in the third reading.
According to the amendments, from January 1, 2024, the issues of military registration, military service of conscripts and reservists during the mobilization period will be based on the unified system. To this end, the model of a legal entity of public law existing in Azerbaijan will be applied in the system of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.
