The President of Uzbekistan will pay a working visit to Baku
Baku/22.11.23/Turan: On November 23-24, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Baku to participate in the first summit of the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA), a message on the website of the head of Uzbekistan.
The agenda of the event includes issues of further expansion of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Program, the creation of a Trust Fund to support regional projects, the adoption of a roadmap for the digitalization of transport corridors, the promotion of business initiatives and other issues.
The SPECA Program was established on March 26, 1998 to promote economic cooperation. The participating States of the program are: Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. -0-
