The second enterprise for the production of medical masks opened in Sumgayit
Baku/12.05.20/ Turan: On Tuesday, a new enterprise for the production of medical masks and a workshop for sewing protective overalls, operating at the Gilan Tekstil LLC sewing factory, were opened in Sumgayit.
The ceremony was attended by the head of state.
Initially, the factory will produce 140 thousand masks daily; in the future, production will reach 300 thousand masks per day. The factory will employ 50 people.
The Gilan Tekstil workshop, has begun the production of protective coveralls from high-density polypropylene coated with a protective membrane.
Certified overalls protect users from the virus, infection, harmful chemicals. It is planned to produce 6 thousand overalls daily; 210 people will work in the workshop. Part of the products will be exported.
The first mask production company was opened in Sumgayit on April 6. -02D-
