Seyid Abbas Mousavi and Hikmet Hajiyev
The second meeting of the Iranian Ambassador with Hikmet Hajiyev over the last three days
Baku/16.09.21/Turan: On September 15, the second meeting of the Azerbaijani presidential aide for international affairs Hikmet Hajiyev with the Iranian Ambassador Seyid Mousavi took place over the last three days.
It should be remembered that the first meeting was held on September 13; however, nothing was specifically said about its content. However, it was clear that the topic touched upon Iranian trucks delivering fuel to Karabakh, despite the protests of Baku.
It should be noted that after the first meeting with the Ambassador, the situation has not changed, and the Iranians continued to travel to Karabakh. On September 15, the Azerbaijani military actually arrested two Iranian drivers as saying that they would be brought to justice.
There is no doubt that this situation was the topic of the last meeting with the Iranian Ambassador.
As for the Ambassador himself, he wrote on his Twitter account: "During our warm discussions, we considered the current situation and the future of our good relations, as well as other issues of interest." - 02D-
