On Thursday Ilham Aliyev received Iran's Justice Minister Mustafa Purmohammadi. Aliyev said that there are good opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the field of law enforcement. Aliyev expressed confidence that talks and exchange of views of Purmohammadi with the Azerbaijani counterparts will open new opportunities for cooperation. President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
