The world community has betrayed Karabakh, Araik Harutyunyan believes
Baku/30.08.23/Turan: Nagorno-Karabakh no longer hopes for the world community, Karabakh separatist leader Araik Harutyunyan said at a joint press conference with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, according to Armenpress.
The press conference was held in Goris, and Harutyunyan joined it via video link.
According to Harutyunyan, Azerbaijan, by preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid, hopes to bring Nagorno-Karabakh to its knees, but it will not succeed.
"We know how to respect, but we don't know how to kneel. We will fight as much as we can. We no longer have any expectations from the world community, superpowers, international structures, but we will continue. Dignity inherited for millennia is more important for us," Harutyunyan said.
He thanked all the participants of the humanitarian mission, noting that this will never be forgotten in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Mayor of Paris arrived at the border with Azerbaijan together with 10 trucks of humanitarian aid sent from France. ---02D---

On Friday, the Baku Serious Crimes Court continued the proceedings in the case of opposition politician Tofiq Yagublu. Yagublu's lawyers requested the summons of additional witnesses, including members of the National Council of Democratic Forces, opposition activists, and Yagublu’s wife, Maya Yagublu. Contrary to the prosecution's claims that Yagublu was involved in handing over money to facilitate a visa for Elshan Huseynov in the Zabrat settlement, his lawyers argued that he was actually attending a National Council meeting in the Pirshaghi settlement at that time. Witnesses can confirm this. The court partially granted the request, deciding to call four additional witnesses. The next court session is scheduled for October 18.
