Three human rights organizations are the founders of the monitoring coalition "My Voice"
Baku/30.12.23/Turan: Three human rights organizations of Azerbaijan announced the creation of a coalition to monitor the early presidential elections on February 7. The coalition called "My Voice", in particular, was established by the chairman of the Dilara Aliyeva Society for the Protection of Women's Rights, Novella Jafaroglu, the head of the Public Association for Human Rights and the Protection of the Rule of Law, Saida Gojamanli, and the head of the Azerbaijani division of the International Human Rights Organization Saadat Bananyarli.
A group of well-known experts and political scientists, a team of professional observers will participate in the work of the “My Voice” coalition, according to a press release distributed by the founders. “We have participated in election monitoring in the past. In addition, over the years we have implemented many projects in the regions of the country and now we have invited activists who were our partners to cooperate in the coalition. We want to intensify the participation of civil society in the upcoming elections, which for the first time after the full restoration of the country's integrity will be held throughout the territory of Azerbaijan," Saida Gojamanli, co-founder of the coalition, told Turan news agency.
The coalition will monitor all stages of the elections, prepare an interim report, a report on the results of election day and a final report. The founders of the coalition are also members of the monitoring group of human rights organizations in Azerbaijan. –06D-

The informal summit of the leaders of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Shusha ended with the signing of the Karabakh Declaration. The document was signed by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz.
