Trial of Hilal Mammadov postponed again

Mammadov's lawyer Javad Javadli told Turan the judge demanded the participation of several lawyers. However, Javadli said the lawyers were busy with other cases and any trial may involve one defender.

Previously Mammadov himself refused to testify and asked his lawyers to participate in the trial formally.

Judge Azer Orujov, referring to the absence of the lawyers, rescheduled the process for February 15.

Mammadov was arrested on June 21 and charged with Article 274 (high treason), 283.2.2 (incitement of ethnic and religious hatred) and 234.4.3 (illegal possession of drugs.) -16B06-
