Turkish fighter aircraft in the skies of Azerbaijan

On Thursday Air Force planes and helicopters from Turkey arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the ongoing September 13-20 large-scale joint military exercises.

As the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said, the exercise will involve more than 30 Turkish Air Force flying machines, including fighter aircraft MiG-29, F-16, Su-25 military transport aircraft C-130, helicopters Mi-24, AH-1W Super Cobra and Mi-17 military transport helicopters Sikorsky UH-60.

The exercises will practice planning interaction of the Air Force of the two countries to explore the possibilities of military interoperability during operations, including assignments to destroy ground targets from the air. -06D--
