Turkish President Arrives in Baku
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Baku on the evening of April 25 to participate in the Global Forum of Civilizations. On the same day, Erdogan met with President Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the development of strategic relations between the two countries in all fields and the value of the VII Global Forum of the Alliance of Civilizations of the United Nations held in Baku.
The two Presidents also touched upon the situation in the region and other issues of mutual interest, the statement said.
Today, the President of Turkey will speak at the opening of the Global Forum. -02D-
