Two Armed Men Killed in Special Operation of State Security Service
During the special operation of the State Security Service (SSS) two Azerbaijani citizens suspected of preparing armed crimes were liquidated.
The special operation was carried out on March 10 due to the confirmation of information received on the importation of smuggled firearms, ammunition and explosives by a group of people for the commission of particularly serious crimes.
During the operation, the suspects Azer Huseynov and Ali Islamov provided armed resistance, using firearms in a residential area. The criminals were destroyed by the responding fire.
At the scene, the law enforcers found an AKSU-74 assault rifle, two Makarov pistols and one handmade pistol, explosives weighing 400 and 75 grams and a significant number of cartridges of various calibers.
Currently, the operational and investigative measures are continuing. -06D--
