Composition Consumer Basket Revised
The State Statistics Committee has revised the composition of the consumer basket and now it includes not 565, but 520 names of goods and services. The changes are made taking into account the structure of consumer spending, which in turn is not disclosed.
Inflation in the country since January this year is measured by the new basket.
In the new basket there are no matches, AI-95 gasoline, and gold rings of 585th test. It also lacks some food products: cereals, milk powder, kefir, pickled mushrooms, vegetable tea, strong wine, and seasonings.
SSC found it not important to take into account the prices for men's (coats, sheepskin coats, leather jackets) and women's (leather jackets, suits, swimsuits) clothes. There are not many fabrics in the new basket.
At the same time, instead of food, clothes and other necessary goods, there are nine medications (validol, aspirin, analgin, Panadol / paracetamol, ampicillin, biseptol, captopil, diclofenac, almodipine) included in the basket. --- 08D
