Ukraine, Turkey and the UN signed in Istanbul an agreement on grain exports
Baku/22.07.22/Turan: The control of the ports "Odessa", "Chernomorsk" and "Yuzhny" remains with the Ukrainian side. The presence in these ports of other vessels, except for those that are supposed to ensure the export of grain and related foodstuffs and fertilizers, is not provided, the agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain from the ports on the Black Sea, which was signed on Friday in Istanbul by representatives of Ukraine, Turkey and the UN.
According to the assistant to the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak, there will be no escort of transport by Russian ships and the presence of Russian representatives in Ukrainian ports, all checks of transport ships will be carried out by joint groups in Turkish waters if necessary.
"According to the Istanbul agreement "On the export of Ukrainian grain", preliminary Ukraine does not sign any documents with Russia. We sign an agreement with Turkey and the UN and assume obligations to them. Russia signs a mirror agreement with Turkey and the UN," Podolyak wrote in your Twitter account.
According to the Russian side, the corresponding agreement will be signed in Istanbul with representatives of Turkey and the UN by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. --02D--
