Ukrainian Ambassador: Russia - the enemy of the world
On Monday the Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko hold a press conference in the office of the agency "Interfax-Azerbaijan" on the situation in Crimea. He called the deployment of the Russian military forces in the Crimea "an open aggression and occupation."
"Statement by the Kremlin that the deployment of troops is to "ensure the safety of the Russian-speaking population of the Crimea is demagoguery. Russia shall apply the law of force against international law," said the diplomat. Russia was left alone, like North Korea and Syria, opposed itself to the world. The information in the Russian media about the attack in Ukraine on the Russian-speaking population is a lie and slander, he said.
Alexander Mishchenko accused former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and pro-Russian officials in the current crisis. The events is a consequence of a deliberate policy of the Kremlin. All this created a special service of the Russian Federation," said Mishchenko. The ambassador denied the statements by the Kremlin about the coming to power the Nazis in Ukraine. "On the contrary, today fascism comes from Russia," he said. Concerning relations with Azerbaijan , the ambassador noted that Ukraine appreciates the position of Baku on the issue.
