U.S. Embassy: Blaming NDİ is unfounded

The  U.S. Embassy denied the accusations against the National Democratic Institute (NDİ) on the alleged preparation  of color revolution in Azerbaijan through social networks. Such opinion was made in Fatullayev’s article  $2 million to "Facebook" revolution in Azerbaijan, published on the Haqqin.az on March 10.

The response of the Embassy  to the request of  Turan reads:

The allegations in the article are baseless.  The National Democratic Institute and its Director work to support Azerbaijan’s civil society engagement and democratic development. NDI has been completely transparent with the government of Azerbaijan about its work here since 1995, and its activities fall within its registration agreement with the Ministry of Justice.

The above article  read  that the representative of  NDİ works with youth organizations in Azerbaijan to prepare the revolution under the scenario of "color revolutions" carried out in other post-Soviet countries. The articles argued the use  of large sums of money for  this purpose  by NDI. --02В--
