Will Adnan Oktar's Supporters Be Held Accountable in Azerbaijan?
Istanbul / 19.07.18 / Turan: According to the decision of the Istanbul court, 116 suspects in the criminal sect of the preacher Adnan Oktar were arrested. Among those arrested is Oktar, detained by the Turkish security forces on July 11.
In his house there was a search. Interrogations continue for another 54 persons involved in the criminal organization. At the same time, Turkish security forces are conducting an operation in five provinces to detain 235 people suspected of involvement in the activities of Oktar's criminal group.
Members of the group are accused of creating a criminal organization, sexual harassment, kidnapping, rape, blackmail, military and political espionage, fraud using people's religious beliefs, money laundering, and forgery of documents.
It is noteworthy that a group of Oktar supporters exists in Azerbaijan. They published a magazine, distributed his books and held various mass events.
On the Internet there are video materials about the meeting of Oktar with a group of his supporters from Azerbaijan. It is noteworthy that they are all young people with a pleasant appearance and good manners. In Turkey, Oktar is also accused of creating a structure like a harem, where beautiful women from many countries provided him with sexual services.
