Yerevan confirms it is starting to build a road bypassing Lachin
Baku/29.07.22/Turan: Work on the reconstruction of the M-12 Tekh-Kornidzor highway will begin in August, the Ministry of Territorial Administration of Armenia announced on Friday. No construction timeline has been announced.
The talk is about expanding the existing road, with a total length of 7-8 km. It will be connected to a new road to the south of the city of Lachin already in the territory of Azerbaijan. After that, the Armenians will not use the current Lachin corridor to travel to Karabakh, which will come under the control of Azerbaijan along with the city of Lachin. -02B-
