Yerevan renounces the agreements of November 10 and January 11?
Baku/01.06.21/Turan: Armenia suspends its participation in the work of the Trilateral commission (Azerbaijan-Armenia-Russia) to restore communications in the region. Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Armenia Mher Grigoryan told reporters in Yerevan.
He explained this decision not by solving the problem of Armenian prisoners and" aggression " of Azerbaijan.
"Given the current situation on the border, I do not think that constructive work on this platform is possible. Therefore, contacts have been interrupted, " he said and noted that contacts were interrupted "after the invasion of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the territory of Armenia."
Touching upon the topic of the Zangezur corridor, he made it clear that Yerevan is extremely annoyed by the use of this term by the President of Azerbaijan.
"The Armenian side has not discussed and will not discuss the issues of corridor logic. If some people mean transport routes by the concept of a corridor, this is one question, but if any sovereignty-related ircumstances are meant, then such discussions are excluded, " he said.
It should be recalled that a question of communications opening in the region, and particularly, land communications between mainland Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, has been reflected in the statement of the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia dated November 10, 2020.
On January 11, 2021, the same leaders signed a new document providing for the creation of a trilateral commission to decide the opening of communications, in particular, road and rail links with Nakhchivan. - 02D-
