Baku / 07.11.18 / Turan: On the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, customs officers intercepted a consignment of 105 kg of heroin, which was shipped in transit through Azerbaijan to Turkey.
The Customs Committee of Azerbaijan reports that a cargo of drugs was found at the Julfa customs point, in the secret section of the truck driven by a Turkish citizen Bekir Koroglu.
The drugs were packaged in 104 packages. According to the driver, he had to deliver the goods to Istanbul. A criminal case was initiated under Article 206.2 (drug smuggling). -02D-
