Baku / 04.11.20 / Turan: 1227 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, 667 people recovered, 12 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said today.
A total of 59,509 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan, including 45,697 recovered, 780 have died, 13,032 active patients are continuing treatment.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,391,253 tests have been carried out in Azerbaijan to detect new cases of coronavirus infection, including 11,474 in the last 24 hours. — 06D--

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
